About Me

Hi, I’m Erika, and I’m passionate about stories!

When I was a university student, working towards my BA in English, I was lucky enough to participate in something called the Life Writing Project. As a young 20-year-old, I was paired with two amazing women in a seniors’ residence and tasked with putting their life stories into a piece of writing. The project changed my life and ignited a passion. I’ve spent my career since then helping people preserve their stories through the written word. I love learning what makes people tick through the stories they tell, and I’m excited to help you tell yours.

Alongside my writing work, I spend my time finding people great reads and facilitating programming through my job at the public library. I love what I do, and it gives me the freedom to pursue my writing on the side. I guess you could say I’ve surrounded myself with words in every possible way.

I live in western Canada in a sunny apartment filled with plants. When I’m not working, I enjoy a good read, spending time with my family (especially my fur family!), going for walks, bright nail polish, and having solo dance parties while I wash the dishes.
